BARI and her sister, Barci, had allegedly walked into a garden where the fence was being repaired and while they throttled 6 hens they had to go. They arrived at the shelter inside a makeshift „trailer”, made from 2 vegetable crates, that was attached to a bike. Whoever was their owner, one thing is sure: they were environmentally deprived, they never knew the collar and lead, therefore, it took a lot of trouble to lead them into their kennel, moreover, next morning Barci surprised us with 5 gorgeous pups .
Since then BARI has changed quite a bit. She happily hurries to the kennel bars when she sees us and waits for the stroking hand. She’s very grateful for love and attention. We have started to leash-train her and although she’s still a bit scared and she doesn’t always walk nicely, if she’s going to be walked every day by her new owner, she will quickly get the hang of it.
Unfortunately, BARI is heartworm positive the treatment of which condition incurs a monthly cost of 4,000 Ft. She's waiting for her loving owner who's willing to provide this for her. 14.10.2020
