Ismét a kutyatartás magas fokának lehettünk szemtanúi, hiába minden tájékoztató előadás, minden közmédiás megjelenés, minden állatvédelmi rendelkezés és szigorítás, ha ez a legszegényebb, legelmaradottabb vidékre/családokhoz nem jut el.

3 kutya tengette nyomorúságos kis életét láncra kötve az ingatlanon. A szomszédok jelezték, hogy egyikük már meghalt az udvar közepén. Házuk, búvóhelyük nem volt. A „gazda” hetente egyszer járt őket etetni és itatni mivel a ház lakatlan volt. A kutyák egy félig kész ólban laktak láncra kötve. A porban aludtak összekuporodva. DEMETRIA nyaka körül még jól látható a láncos tartás eredményekénti szőrkopás. 

Szerencse a szerencsétlenségben, hogy a még életben maradt két kutyusról a „gazda” mindezek fényre derülése után lemondott. Ekkor kerültek gondozásunkba.

Mindketten végtelenül jólelkű, minden viszontagságuk ellenére emberimádó kis lelkek. Imádnak játszani, sétálni menni, szaladgálni, puszit és szeretetet osztani és Dínónak a többi kutyával is remek a kapcsolata. DEMETRIA a szuka kutyákat nem kedveli, de kankutyákkal jól kijön.A macskateszt során ( ami egy cicákkal teli, apró szobában zajlik), azt tapasztaltuk, hogy nem volt érdeklődő a macskák iránt. Mivel mindkét fél megilletődött állapotban volt, így nem feltétlen garantált, hogy máskor, más környezetben teljesen cicabarát lesz. 
DEMETRIA kettőjük közül a nyitottabb, de ez semmit sem von le Dínó kedvességéből és barátságosságából. Ők amolyan nagybetűs KUTYÁK: vagyis ők minden tulajdonsággal rendelkeznek, amit egy kutyában szeretnél. Gondtalanok, kedvesek, barátságosak,lelkesek, játékosak, rajonganak a sétáért és mint mondtuk, az emberért. Mindketten epekedve várják az embert a kennelben, szívrepesve üdvözlik őt, ha végre megjelenik és boldogan indulnak vele bárhova. Reméljük, már nem kell sokáig várniuk.

2022. január 15-étől  kutyaiskolába jár. A 3 alkalmas alap engedelmességi képzésen vesz részt.  

DEMETRIA sajnos szívférges, az örökbe fogadónak ez havonta kb. 4.000 Ft kiadást jelent. Csak olyan jelentkezzen gazdinak, aki ezt az áldozatot meg tudja hozni érte! 2022.01.31.

Once again we had to witness the height of ignorance that’s so typical of Hungarian pet culture. All in vain. All the informative lectures, all appearances in the social media, all the animal protection laws and restrictions are all in vain if it does not get to where it should – that is the poorest and almost third-world-areas/families in the country.

On this particular property 3 dogs were living their sorry lives on the chain. The neighbours notified us about one of them having died of hunger (and whatever else) in the middle of the yard at the end of the chain. They didn’t have a wooden dog kennel, neither did they have any kind of a place to hide. Their owner came to feed them and give them fresh water once a week as the house was uninhabited. The dogs were living in a half-made pig sty and slept curled-up in the dust at the end of the chain. The missing hair around DEMETRIA's neck is still easily noticeable. 

The silver lining of „the cloud” is that after all this had come to light the owner officially gave up on the 2 still-alive dogs. That’s when they came into our care.  

Despite all their adversities they are both infinitely well-meaning and people-loving little souls. They very much enjoy playing, walking, running around, sharing out kisses and love and Dínó even enjoys the company of other dogs. DEMETRIA does not like female dogs, but enjoys being with male dogs.During our impromptu cat test (that is conducted in a small room full of cats) she did not show any interest in the felines. However, because both parties were experiencing a new situation it is not fully guaranteed that she will be completely cat-friendly in other situations as well.  DEMETRIA is the more open, but this does not detract from Dínó’s merit and kindness and friendliness. They are both typical DOGS (yes, like this: with capital letters) – that is to say they are everything that you expect from a dog. They are kind of happy-go-lucky, gentle, amiable, enthusiastic, playful doggies who enthuse about walks and as we’ve mentioned, people. They are both waiting for someone in their kennel longingly, their hearts skipping a beat when he/she finally appears and go willingly for a walk with him/her absolutely anywhere. We hope they won’t have to wait for too long now.

As of 15 January 2022 he is attending our 3-Saturday-long training classes and learning the basic obedience exercises. 

Unfortunately, DEMETRIA is heartworm positive the treatment of which condition incurs a monthly cost of 4,000 Ft. She's waiting for her loving owner who's willing to provide this for her. 31.01.2022
