Rina adatlapja

A tél derekán a menhely közelében bukkant fel. Hetekig nem tudtuk magunkhoz édesgetni, de egyre közelebb és közelebb jött. Egyik nap – csak úgy magától, - besétált a kapun. Azóta a vendégszeretetünket és gondoskodásunkat élvezi. A mi kutyánk lett.

Nem lett öleb, nem lehet dögönyözni, még tartja a távolságot az emberektől. De egyre gyakrabban  jön egy-egy simogatásért. Gáborral együtt  őrzi, védi a telepet.

FRISSÍTÉS 2020.05.04. RINA heves farkcsóválással üdvözli azokat, akiket ismer és akik hajlandóak leguggolni hozzá és becézgetni egy kicsit. Boldogan szalad, fenekét hevesen riszálva, ezzel fejezve ki határtalan örömét hogy viszontláthatja a szeretett személyt. Ilyenkor incselkedve, óvakodva odajön, hátára gurul és átadja magát a simogatásnak. Bár csak egy rövid időre, aztán továbbáll mintha azt mondaná "kérlek, légy türelmes velem, még időre van szükségem". A nyakörv látványa még kicsit mindig megijeszti, de azon vagyunk, hogy ezt is megtanulja majd. Más kutyákkal való kapcsolata kiváló.
2020.05.06-án elvégzett szívféregtesztjének eredménye negatív lett. 
A macskateszt során ( ami egy cicákkal teli, apró szobában zajlik), azt tapasztaltuk, hogy nem volt érdeklődő a macskák iránt. Mivel mindkét fél megilletődött állapotban volt, így nem feltétlen garantált, hogy máskor, más környezetben teljesen cicabarát lesz. 2020.05.19.
Németországba költözött. 2020.05.29.

She appeared in the fields in the vicinity of the shelter in the midst of winter. We weren't able to sweet-talk her into coming to us willingly for weeks, but she kept coming closer and closer. One day – just on her own accord – she actually walked through the gate. Since then she's been enjoying our hospitality and care. She's our dog now. She's not turned into a lapdog, you cannot cuddle her as she still keeps her distance from people, but she keeps coming for a little stroking more and more often. She's on guard duty together with Gábor.
UPDATE 04.05.2020 RINA welcomes with a frantically wagging tail all those she knows well and who is willing to spend the time to crouch down to her and give her a bit of attention. She runs to you frantically wiggling her hips then to express her unbounded joy  at seeing you again. She approaches you then in a sort of teasing and careful way that's so typical of her , then she offers up her belly and gives herself up to the joy of being fussed about. But only for some minutes before she goes away again, as if to indicate "please, be patient with me, I need a little more time". The sight of the collar is still a bit scary for her, but we are doing our best to make her get used to it. Her relationship with other dogs is excellent. 
Her heartworm test result on 6th May 2020 came back negative.
During our impromptu cat test (that is conducted in a small room full of cats) she did not show any interest in the felines. However, because both parties were experiencing a new situation it is not fully guaranteed that she will be completely cat-friendly in other situations as well.  19.05.2020
