Szenzor adatlapja

Kaptunk egy segítségkérést, miszerint a kutyust nem tudják már etetni és szomorúan figyelik, ahogy egyre csak fogy. Természetesen azonnal igent mondtunk és fogadtuk a kutyust. Másnap meg is érkezett hozzánk SZENZOR gazdája kíséretében és „jó” magyar szokás szerint egy jó vaskos lánccal a nyaka körül. „Mindig megszökött és a szomszédok meg akarták ölni, ezért lett megkötve.”, tudtuk meg.   Mint ahogy legnagyobb döbbenetünkre azt is, hogy a gazda bízik benne, hogy hamar gazdira talál a kutyus hisz a korábban nálunk leadott kutyája is gyorsan gazdisodott!!!! A láncot visszakérte, feltételezzük, hogy talán egy ideig jó lesz, hogy egy következő szerencsétlen vegetáljon rajta!!!! Addig, amíg ő is feleslegessé válik és nálunk köt ki. Emberek! Ez most komoly?  És mindenkinek joga van állatot tartani! Sőt, mindenki azt csinál az állatával, amit akar! Ez Magyarországon teljesen elfogadott és normális. Az állatvédelmi törvényben leírtaknak úgysem szerez senki érvényt.

Fajtársaival barátságos. A macskateszt során ( ami egy cicákkal teli, apró szobában zajlik), azt tapasztaltuk, hogy nem volt érdeklődő a macskák iránt. Mivel mindkét fél megilletődött állapotban volt, így nem feltétlen garantált, hogy máskor, más környezetben teljesen cicabarát lesz.

SZENZOR’s owner asked for our help. She said that she couldn’t feed him anymore and that she was was very sad to see how SZENZOR was getting thinner and thinner. Naturally, we agreed to take over SZENZOR from her immediately. The following day she duly appeared at the shelter and as is common in Hungary, SZENZOR was wearing a thick chain around his neck! „He had always been escaping and the neighbours threatened to kill him, so that’s why he was chained up”, came the reply from the owner to our question. To our utter bewilderment, she went on explaining how very much she hoped that he would find a new owner soon becausewhen she had given up on her previous dog at our shelter, he had also found a new home quickly! As if that wouldn’t have sufficed, she even asked back for the chain we had removed from SZENZOR! Perhaps it will come in useful for the next unfortunate soul to vegetate on it!!!! Until he’s only becoming surplus to requirement and ends up in the shelter. C’mon, people! Is this serious? And everyone has a right to keep animals! Moreover, everyone does whatever they want to with their animal! In Hungary this is totally normal and accepted! Nobody enforces animal welfare laws anyway.

With fellow dogs he’s friendly. During our impromptu cat test (that is conducted in a small room full of cats) he did not show any interest in the felines. However, because both parties were experiencing a new situation it is not fully guaranteed that he will be completely cat-friendly in other situations as well.
