It's been a long time since we had a more popular dog at the shelter than these two little racoons. We were receiving close to 100 phone calls a day when they came into our care and naturally, everyone wished to take them home when the shelter is absolutely full of dogs, one is more beautiful than the other, who have already received all their vaccinations and have been neutered as well. They have been ready for adoption for years, however, they are not wanted by anyone. TRINITY and MERILYN are also very cute now, but in some years' time, when their fur coat will stop being such soft and velvety, who knows which shelter will they end up with. Of course, we always hope it's not going to happen like this, but we have way too many bad experiences.
The two puppies were found by the roadside, therefore, we have no information about what breed they might be. Whether they bear Border Collie traits or not, we can only guess, but one thing is sure: whatever traits they will bear when they grow bigger, we will only select the very best home out of the hundreds already offered to them.
They are both girls. TRINITY's distinguishing feature is the thick white line that decorates her face, while MERILYN only has a bit of white around her nose.
As the arrival of a puppy into the family means not only huge excitement, but also big responsibility, they are looking for such an owner who has a lot of time and a lot of energy to spare on them, who will take them to training classes and will teach them everything that a smart little, well-socialised family member will ever need and who will, of course, be able to afford the following 10-15 years while they will be member of the family. They can only be adopted with neutering obligation and strict follow-up control by a responsible owner so that they will never again have to return to the shelter.
TRINITY has been adopted. 23.04.2021
MERILYN's relocated to Germany. 07.05.2021
