FINCIKE’s story is a sad one as he had a brother called Incike. Unfortunately, Incike’s weakened immune system couldn’t withstand illnesses.
FINCIKE has been stronger and now, after more than 3 months at the shelter, it seems that it is time he found a loving family. It is true to say that his eyes still often tear up, but in a clean, aseptic environment he would soon get rid of this little flaw as well.
He’s terribly ravenous. He’s able to jump into the food bowl in hand and then he’s munching away while growling all the time to indicate that no one should try to take his food from him.
Despite this we would like him not to be an only cat as such a small kitten needs a playmate.
He’s housebroken, vaccinated and castrated. He’s to be adopted as an indoor cat.
UPDATE 15.01.2021 FINCIKE has been affected by some trauma or perhaps her adult teeth started to grow and this has caused a change in his behaviour, but the previously infinitely lively kitten has turned into a reserved cat and she has also lost her appetite. He still very much loves being stroked and even at feeding she prefers stroking to food.
We hope that within a loving family his old self returns and he will be the playful, lively cat he used to be.
His FIV-FELV test result on 21st January 2021 came back negative.
FINCIKE has moved in with her hopefully forever owner. 04.01.2022
He's been adopted. 19.01.2022
