The four doggos have a very sad story. They all came to the shelter at the same time from the same owner. LÉDA ( the mummy ), LULU, a young bitch, and LURKÓ and LAJKA, the two young guys. Their owner wasn't someone who could be described as responsible. He didn't have the mother dog spayed and as a result, the 3 unwanted overpopulation were born. It is not just the lack of neutering that makes the owner irresponsible, but the lack of taking care of the dogs as well. As they got fed rather sporadically, they started to become independent and look for food in the area. They were always hanging out in the street in the hope of someone taking pity on them and giving them some tiny scraps of food to eat. Some people did help, some got annoyed by them straying onto the street and the end of the story was them arriving at the shelter.
All of them were very shy as they'd never been loved and they were terrified of the collar and lead.
Especially the two bitches were very scared. The two male dogs were a little more brave.
LURKÓ was the bravest of the 4, but he wasn't problem-free, either. Due to some old injury his right front leg wasn't functioning properly. It had probably been broken in puppyhood and due to lack of medical care it didn't heal properly.
