CSÖPI's story is quite a cliché. Her owner died, the house became deserted. Unfortunately, most pet owners do not think ahead and do not care about what is going to happen to his beloved pet when he/she is no more. And yet death is lurking around all the time and can happen to anyone, any time. It's lucky if the relatives or friends take the pet and look after him/her, but it happens rarely. CSÖPI was also taken by the relative, but only for a short time as she was not needed.
It is a pity because CSÖPI is adorable. We can't even imagine a sweeter creature than her. Trust and love radiate from her button-eyes and from her whole being and she winds her way into everyone's heart in a second.
At the beginning she was very shy and she was terrified of everything, but especially of the collar when we put it round her neck. She made known to us with a series of loud screams that she had never even seen the likes of it before, let alone having one round her own neck and that she was really very scared of it. Now she has slowly started to get used to the collar and lead, but she still needs quite some time to practise walking on the lead.
She is to be adopted by a patient, caring owner who can spend a lot of time with her and who doesn't just wish for a “doorbell to ring”.
During our impromptu cat test - that happens in a small room full of cats - she didn't show any interest in cats. Both CSÖPI and the cats were rather cautious in this new situation, therefore, it is not guaranteed that she will be completely cat-friendly in absolutely every single situation. 13.08.2020
Her heartworm test result on 26th August came back negative.
She's relocated to Germany. 30.08.2020
