Idős gazdája halálát követően egy család magához vette, de ott nem maradhatott.

ELTON még fiatal és eleven. Tele van energiával és lelkesedéssel. Az ember a mindene és eleinte, ha nem lehetett az ember közelében, akkor szeparációs szorongását folyamatos kétségbeesett „énekléssel” jelezte a kennelrácsok mögül innen kapta a nevét is.

Mára már kicsit megnyugodott, beletörődött menhelyi sorsába, de nem szeretnénk, ha megtört lelkű menhelyi kutyus válna belőle, ezért gőzerővel keressük neki az új gazdit. Természetesen fiatal gazdira van szüksége, aki sok időt tud neki szentelni és akivel hosszú sétákat tehet, játszhat, bolondozhat, majd kinyúlhat mellette a kanapén.

Kutyatársaival többnyire jól kijön. Egy-két esetben dominanciát mutat, de az ő esetében ez könnyen lekezelhető.
A cicákat nem szereti. Hangosan ugatja őket. 

Kedves, barátságos, emberszerető kutyus, nem is értjük, hogyan tudtak megválni tőle gondozói.
2021.04.13-án elvégzett szívféregtesztjének eredménye: negatív.

Following the death of his elderly owner he was being looked after by a family, but his time was up now.

ELTON is still young and lively. He's full of energy and enthusiasm. People are the centre of his world, therefore, at the beginning he indicated his separation anxiety by continuous „singing” from behind the kennel bars when he wasn't able to be near to people. That's where his name comes from.

By now he has calmed down a bit, he has accepted his fate, but we wouldn't like his soul to get crushed in the shelter environment, so we are urgently looking for a new owner for him. Naturally, he needs a young person who can offer him a lot of time and who can take him for long walks, play with him and after all the exercise he can stretch out on the sofa with him.

He mostly gets on well with other dogs. In one or two cases he has shown some dominance, but in his case it's easily manageable.

He's kind, friendly and adores people. We can't understand how his guardians were able to part with him.
He does not like cats. He keeps barking at them loud. 
His heartworm test result on 13th April 2021 came back negative.
He's relocated to Germany. 30.04.2021
