GILBERT was lucky as he didn’t have to be born in the street into a future unknown.
His mummy, LENCSI, used to bea stray cat living in a cat colony before she, hugely pregant, came into the care of his foster lady. GILBERT was not born as a stray cat with his 4 siblings. Sadly, 2 kittens were still born, but 3 were nicely nursed thanks to their foster mummy, Zita. 2 of them have already been adopted, but GILBERT is still in waiting.
As he had received his vaccinations and was already castrated he needed to move out of his permanent home and into the shelter as other stray cats needing for care were already queuing for the place.
GILBERT got used to the new environment reasonably quickly. He enjoys playing and romping with the other cats. He might be a bit shy of people that he doesn’t know yet, but he doesn’t need a long time to make friends and to be glad of stroking and attention.
He’d be happy to find a home where he’d have company as he has been living with other cats and small sitze dogs all his life, so alonness would be strange for him.
He’s housebroken, FIV—FELV negative and can be adopted in Békéscsaba only as an indoor cat.
