Töki adatlapja

TÖKI egy kerítés nélküli portán a lánc végén tengette életét. Volt neki kis kutyaháza a bejárati ajtó közelében, volt neki enni-és innivalója, de a kerítés hiánya miatt szabadsága nem volt. Mint ahogy ez ebben a régióban sajnos természetes, sétálni sem vitték és a lakásba sem volt bejárása.

Kollégáink megkeresésére a tulajdonos nem is ellenkezett hisz hamar belátta ő is, hogy jobb lenne a kutyusnak, ha nem lenne megkötve és mivel ő ezt nem tudta neki biztosítani,beleegyezett abba, hogy TÖKI a menhelyen próbáljon szerencsét és várja meg azt a gazdit, aki mindazt a törődést  biztosítani tudja számára, amire neki szüksége van és amit megérdemel.

TÖKI be is szállt az autóba, meg is érkezett  menhelyre, de sajnos ott kiszálláskor nagyon megijedt, sikerült kiszabadulnia gondozóink kezei közül és huss,  elszaladt. Az elkövetkezendő napokban többször megpillantottuk a menhely közelében, de a közelünkbe sosem jött, a kihelyezett csapdát pedig messziről elkerülte. Na persze, majd bolond lesz önként beülni egy kennelbe, amikor most hirtelen kinyílt a világ számára, ő pedig nem tudott betelni a sok újdonsággal: fűszálak, fák, virágok, mindenütt és mennyi új illat! Két hétnek kellett eltelnie mire megtaláltuk. Egy bácsi kezdte el etetni, TÖKI pedig nap mint nap várta a porta előtt a bácsi érkezését. Kolléganőnknek végül itt sikerült megfogni őt és így került be két héttel később a menhelyre.

TÖKI nagyon gyorsan a szívünkhöz nőtt mert egy nagyon ragaszkodó, kedves, embercentrikus kutyust ismerhettünk meg benne. Végtelenül szeretetéhes, de mégsem nyomulós. Ráadásul miután loncsaitól megszabadítottuk, egy igazán sármos kis fickó vált belőle. Vele aztán igazán könnyű lenne az élet. Imád sétálni menni, imádja a cirógatást-becézgetést és nagyon szívesen aludna a gazdi lába mellett az ágy végében. Más kutyákkal is tökéletes a kapcsolata, sőt, még a bársonytalpúakkal is nagyon jól kijön. Jó lenne, ha lenne kutyatársa, de igazából a lényeg, hogy szeressék és viszont szerethessen valakit.

Egy szó mint száz, TÖKI alig várja a gazdis életet. Alig várja, hogy minden nap mehessen felfedezni és újabbnál újabb illatok után szaglászni, szóval amennyiben megtetszett ez a kis 40 centis kócos szőrmók, ne habozz! TÖKI minden nap, egész nap, csak Rád vár.
2021.06.23-án elvégzett szívféregtesztjének eredménye: negatív.

TÖKI was living his life at the end of a chain on a property which wasn’t fenced around. He had a small wooden dog kennel close to the front door, he had enough to eat and enough to drink, but because of  the lack of the fencing he had no freedom. As it is sadly natural in this region, he wasn’t taken for walks and he wasn’t allowed inside the house, either.

The owner didn’t refuse our offer for taking him to the shelter when we rang the bell and told him that this was no life for TÖKI. He understood quickly that the little dog shouldn’t be chained and as he was unable to offer him a different life he agreed for TÖKI to try his luck at the shelter and wait for the right person who would be able to offer him the love ad care that he needs and that he deserves.

TÖKI got in the shelter car, arrived at the shelter all right, but unfortunately, he got scared when he was taken out of the car and he ran away. During the following days he was spotted several times in the vicinity of the shelter, but he never came close to us and he smartly avoided the trap we had set up for him. Of course, he’d have been a fool to sit inside a kennel voluntarily when the world has just suddenly opened up for him and he couldn’t get enough of the novelties galore: long grass, trees, flowers everywhere and what a lot of new smells! It’s taken two weeks for us to find him. An old man started to feed him and TÖKI was waiting for his arrival every day in front of his property. It was there that our colleague finally managed to get hold of him and this is how he came into our care two weeks later.

TÖKI has wound his way into our hearts in no time as we have got to know a very kind, affectionate and people-centred little dog in him. He has an infinite hunger for love and yet he’s not pushy. When he’d been rid of his matted hair he’s become a really good-looking fellow as well. Life would be really easy with him. He adores going for a walk, adores being stroked and caressed and he would loooove to sleep next to your feet at the end of the bed. His relationship with other dogs couldn’t be better and he gets on really well with the felines as well. It would be great if he had dog company, but the main thing is that he’d be loved and he would love you back.

The long and short of it is, he’s desperately waiting for life within a loving family and for being able to go exploring and smelling after new smells every single day. So, if you like this 40 cm high little fuzzball, do not hesitate! TÖKI is waiting for you every day and all day long!
His heartworm test test result on 23rd June 2021 came back negative.
