Kolléganőnk vette észre még márciusban a 1,5 méteres láncon, mindenféle védelem nélkül, tartott kutyát egy másik településen. Szigetelt kutyaházat és kutyaeledelt is vitt neki, de sajnos a láncontartásról nem sikerült lebeszélnie a gazdát.

Aztán a gazda kórházba került, gondozója kért segítséget a kutyus számára. Ekkor került a menhelyre.

VIKTÓRIA egy csendesebb, visszafogottabb, tehát nem hiperaktív tacsi. Végtelenül nyugodt természetű. Első találkozáskor visszafogott, de nagyon hamar barátkozik és onnantól egy igazi kis cukorfalat. Bújik az ember ölébe. Engedelmes, szófogadó és türelmes.  Minden más kutyával remekül kijön és nagyon várja az igazit. A macskateszt során ( ami egy cicákkal teli, apró szobában zajlik), azt tapasztaltuk, hogy nem volt érdeklődő a macskák iránt. Mivel mindkét fél megilletődött állapotban volt, így nem feltétlen garantált, hogy máskor, más környezetben teljesen cicabarát lesz. 
VIKTÓRIA sajnos szívférges, az örökbefogadónak ez havonta kb. 4.000 Ft kiadást jelent. Csak olyan jelentkezzen gazdinak, aki ezt az áldozatot meg tudja hozni érte! 2022.09.07.

A tethered dog in another town came to the attention of one of our colleagues back in March. VIKTÓRIA was at the end of a 1.5 metres long chain and had no shelter or protection from rain, wind or direct sunlight at all. Our colleague provided the little dog with an insulated wooden dog kennel and food for months, but she was unable to talk the owner out of keeping her chained.

Some month later the owner was hospitalised and her nurse asked for our help, so VIKTÓRIA came into our care.

She’s a quieter, more laid back, not hyperactive type of Dachshund. She’s infinitely calm. She’s a bit reserved when she meets you for the first time, but she makes friends easily and from then on she’s a total cutie pie. She loves cuddling and climbing up into your lap. She’s obedient, and patient. She enjoys a good relationship with other dogs and she’s very much looking forward to her Mr or Miss Right. During our impromptu cat test (that is conducted in a small room full of cats) she did not show any interest in the felines. However, because both parties were experiencing a new situation it is not fully guaranteed that she will be completely cat-friendly in other situations as well.  
Unfortunately, VIKTÓRIA is heartworm positive the treatment of which condition incurs a monthly cost of 4,000 Ft. She's waiting for her loving owner who's willing to provide this for her. 07.09.2022
