MESIKE cut a very sad figure due to her face and eyes when she came into our care.
Not long before MESIKE’s arrival Gusztika had come into our care and his eyes couldn’t be saved.
Despite this we were secretely hoping that one of MESIKE’s eyes could still be saved and we’ve managed to do it.
She went through a lot of suffering (and so did we) when one of her eyes had been removed, the other was stitched together int he hope that this could save her eye. We needed to get eyedrops into her stitched-together-eye several times a day which was a huge ordeal for her.
Despite all that she was extremely cooperative, the continuous torture never resulted in any aggression on her part. Of course, after a while she was expecting what was coming and the formerly cuddly and trusting kitten was becoming more and more anxious.
We were very worried before the stitches were finally removed, wondering whether she was going to be able to see.
And yes, she can see! She’s beautiful, kind and cuddly. Do you need anything more than that?
Of course, you do: a loving home. Her new owner will have to get her neutered, though.
She can be adopted in Békéscsaba as an indoor cat.
