It is unbelievable, but we found her in the countryside. Who knows how and why did she get there or who her previous owner might have been? We certainly do not as she was not chipped and no one has been looking for her at our shelter.
MARY-LOU is a sweet, calm, kind, ageing lady. She was sporting a huge cherry eye when she came into our care. Following a successful surgery her eye is healing nicely.
Unfortunately, she's tested heartworm positive, moreover, she's got heart enlargement. Therefore, she's on medication for life.
Despite all that MARY-LOU is an unbelievably sweet dog. Her relationship with other dogs is perfect and her love for people is infinite. Due to her medical condition she's never going to be a runner, but with slow, tiny steps, sometimes stumbling, she's more than happy to explore the world.
She's looking for a safe, loving home where her medical condition will not be considered an impediment.
