The police notified us about 2 dogs having been involved in a road accident at the same time. They were hit by a car along one of the main roads. As we’d not found a microchip in any of them they came into our care. Both of them were very thin. Titánium was „lucky” as he only had a small injury of the left hind leg. PlATINA, however, must have been hit very hard. She was only able to crawl when she came into our care. She must have had immeasurable pain. The veterinary examination established that her left hind leg had been broken in several places at the femur and at the phalanges.
On 18.01.2023 she underwent surgery. At the removal of the stitches it was established that the bones had forged in the wrong way and therefore, she needed a second surgery. This took place on 08.02.2023. She still does not use the injured leg, but we hope that this is only a question of time. She’s still awaiting neutering and after that she is up for adoption.
