A hűséges, idős kutya megbecsülése egyáltalán nem jellemző Békéscsabán és környékén, tisztelet a kivételnek. NÓZIt 10 éves korában (és minket is ezáltal) az elaltatásával fenyegette gazdája. Nem kapott sem szeretetet, sem megbecsülést tőle. Talán sohasem. Saját bevallása szerint a kutyus egész életében soha, egyetlenegyszer sem, tette ki a lábát az utcára. Egy kennelben tengette egész életét. Nos, azt kell mondjuk, hogy ennél még a menhely is jobb. Tudjuk, csak a mi szívünk dobban ilyen nagyot érte és senki nem fog már beleszeretni és örök otthont felajánlani számára már, mi mégis megpróbáljuk a lehetetlent. Érte.

sajnos nem lát - német juhászktyákra jellemző autoimmun betegsége van (Überreiter szindróma), ezért Optimmune szemcseppre van szüksége

Alapvetően nem izgága típus, de sajnos idáig el volt hanyagolva, emiatt olyannyira vágyik a szeretetre, simogatásra, hogy néha túl lelkes, felugrálhat, kéri, követeli a simogatást, de egy szerető gazdi mellett gyorsan megnyugodna.
Más kutyákkal nem jön ki.
NÓZI sajnos szívférges, az örökbefogadónak ez havonta kb. 5.000 Ft kiadást jelent. Csak olyan jelentkezzen gazdinak, aki ezt az áldozatot meg tudja hozni érte! 2023.09.04.

Loyal, elderly dogs are not valued at all in Békéscsaba and its surroundings, with all due respect to the handful of exceptions. NÓZI was already 10 years old when his owner threatened him (and us at the same time) with putting him to sleep. He had not received any kind of affection, nor appreciation from his owner. Maybe never. The owner admitted to us quite proudly that NÓZI had never ever set foot outside the property, never been taken  for a walk, not even once!  He had been locked up in a small kennel all his life. Well, we have to say that even the dog shelter is better than that. We are aware that only our heart beats so hard for NÓZI and no one will fall in love with him and offer him a forever home at this time of his life now, but we still would like to try. For him.

he can’t see much - he has been diagnosed with Überreiter Syndrome that German Shepherd dogs are prone to and he needs to be treated with Optimmune eye drops

He is not the itchy type, but unfortunatey he had been neglected badly and because of that he aspires after love, affection and stroking so intensely  that he can be too enthusiastic sometimes, so he might jump up asking, demanding attention, but he would calm down by the side of a loving owner quickly.
He's mot compatible with pother dogs.
Unfortunately, NÓZI is heartworm positive the treatment of which condition incurs a monthly cost of 5,000 Ft. He's waiting for his loving owner who's willing to provide this for him. 04.09.2023
